Scottish Schools Online

An online service has been developed which offers parents access to information relevant to the performance of individual schools.The revised Scottish Schools Online site has the following features:

(1) For every school in Scotland; school contact details; school email where available; a link to the school website where available; school examination results, attendance and absence figures, leaver destinations, as well as other school information, such as numbers of pupils and staff and explanatory text for parents. The site also has links to HMIE inspection reports and allows each school examination data to be compared with national and local authority figures.

(2) The site has a feedback facility, allowing users to comment on its quality or to ask questions.
The Parentzone website, www.parentzonescotland.gov.uk,will act as a point of access to the Scottish Schools Online facility.
