Grampian Children’s Book Award
The Library hosts a reading group which participates in the Grampian Children’s Book Award. This encourages pupils to read quality fiction, discuss books and writing and nominate their favourite author for the award. All secondary schools in Aberdeenshire and City are involved in choosing the winner.
The Library is also used for ad hoc meetings and charity events such as the Sponsored Silence and Silent Auction.
