Intermediate two History can provide a 'stepping stone' for pupils who don't feel ready to attempt Higher. Pupils who attain a grade 3 or 4 at Standard Grade will usually attempt Intermediate two

Purpose
 
The purpose of this course is to improve knowledge in key areas of Historical Study and to develop Skills acquired at Standard Grade History – especially in Source handling.

Recommended Entry

If the course is offered then entry will be set at a minimum of a General pass (Grades 3 or 4) in Standard Grade History or by negotiation with the Principal Teacher of Social Subjects.
