S1/S2 Geography

Local Study

This course was run for the first time in May 2008. In order to promote the idea of successful learners and responsible citizens the Social Subjects faculty ran it's first combined course. Pupils were given 5 weeks to study the local area and also spent one day researching Laurencekirk, Montrose, St.Cyrus, Edzell and Fettercairn. Each first year class was then split into groups and they worked on a presentation. This presentation was then showcased to parents on the evening of 27th May.
