On Friday the 27th of June 2003, Sir Robert Smith MP presented the school with the prestigious Charter Mark Award. This special presentation saw the school and the wider school community, become one of the very few schools in Scotland to receive achieve this. Mr Miller would like to stress that this is an award achieved by and presented to, the school community as a whole, and great pride should be felt by all whom are involved within the school.
